I have fallen in love with everything Spain! Our Culinary Journey to Seville was so memorable - I can't wait to take you! We had a blast "tapa-hopping" in the Santa Cruz barrio of Seville - just like the locals, we went from one tapas bar to another, having a drink and a little bit to eat at one place, then moving on to the next tapas bar. Of course during our hands-on cooking classes at our gorgeous home for the week, Hacienda de Orán, we prepared my favorite Spanish-inspired recipes - including Paella with Chicken, Shellfish and Chorizo, Patatas Bravas, Sizzling Prawns with Sherry, Churros con Chocolate - the flavors match so perfectly with the sparkling and still wines from the region. We also visited the Ines Rosales factory where they hand make 'tortas de aceite' (crisp and delicious olive oil wafers with a hint of aniseed), we went to the Jerez de la Frontera for a tour and tasting of the famed Bodegas Osborne sherry and manzanilla wines, we visited Jamón de Huelva where the famous dry-cured Serrano ham is produced, learned how to flamenco dance, and so much more!
